We put Finishing Touch Flawless Facial Hair Remover to the test after receiving a complimentary sample from the brand. Keep reading for our full product review.
As someone who shaves her legs once a week and armpits every other day if I’m really on top of things, I tend to be pretty wary of hair removal devices. I’ve nicked my legs shaving more times than I can count, and I hate how dry and irritated my skin gets after I shave.
When I was given the opportunity to try the Finishing Touch Flawless Facial Hair Remover, I was wary. I remembered a disastrous moment in high school when I’d decided to shave my sideburns—and that was the last time I’d dabbled in any sort of facial hair removal, other than plucking or waxing my eyebrows. But because I have some very light peach fuzz around my ears that developed during pregnancy, I decided to give it a try. Here’s how it worked for me.
Best for: Anyone with unwanted facial hair
Uses:Removes facial hair and can be used on the body as well
Materials: 18K gold-plated, comes with a light
Price: Around $20
About the brand:Flawless Beauty offers hair removal products for the face and body, as well as manicure and pedicure tools.
About My Facial Hair: Not very noticeable
Truth be told, I’m not a very hairy person. The most I’ve ever had to shave my legs is once a week, and while if I look very closely I can see the tiniest hint of a mustache (can’t we all?), in general the only thing that bothers me is the tiniest bit of peach fuzz around my ears. With the promise of a painless experience, I was willing to try this hair remover.
The Look: Sleek, lipstick-like
I love the look of the Finishing Touch Flawless Facial Hair Remover. It’s like a sleek, blue-ish gold oversized lipstick. I also love the fact that it comes with a light — my peach fuzz is very light and difficult to see, so the light ensures that I’m removing hair from the right spots.

The Feel: Easy to use, but stings a bit
I wouldn’t say this hair remover is entirelypainless. When I used it—making sure to insert the battery, turn it on, and then use gentle circular motions, exactly as the package instructed—I did feel a tiny bit of stinging. That being said, it got rid of my peach fuzz, so I’m mostly OK with it.
The Results: Smooth and fuzz-free
Overall, I was happy with the results I got. It effectively got rid of my peach fuzz, and it doesn’t grow back bristly. I’m not sure I’ll use this all the time — I don’t love the fact that it stings a bit, and in general the small amount of light facial hair I have doesn’t bother me — but I can see how this would be a great tool for someone with a lot of facial hair who wants an easy, efficient, and affordable way to manage it.

My positive experience with this hair remover makes sense, because dermatologist Diane Madfes, MD, FAAD says it’s an excellent tool for removing hair. “This is a mechanical hair removal device that works by trimming the hair. I do recommend it as this is very gentle to the skin, cutting hair at one angle, which means no ingrowns!”
Value: Affordable compared to pro treatments
At around $20, the Finishing Touch Flawless Facial Hair Remover is definitely affordable, especially when you compare it to professional treatments like waxing or laser hair removal. So if your wallet is feeling the weight of professional hair removal treatments, this is a great option.
Similar Products: Youve got options
Dermaflash MINI Precision Peach Fuzz Removal Device ($69): This compact hair remover is similar to the Finishing Touch Flawless Facial Hair Remover, and it’s designed specifically to remove peach fuzz. It’s quite a bit more expensive but also includes a built-in rollerball to depuff the eye area.
Spa Sciences SIMA Sonic Facial Exfoliation and Hair Removal System ($29): Another budget-friendly option, it’s a gentle option that also exfoliates dead skin cells and smooths skin. Keep in mind it’s not ideal for removing thick, coarse hair.
Final Verdict
If you’re sick of paying for waxes or laser hair treatments, the Finishing Touch Flawless Facial Hair Remover is an affordable, efficient way to manage unwanted facial hair without irritation or painful razor snags.
