Olive & June
At Olive & June, the mission has always been beautiful nails for everyone. And that means everyone.
Affordably priced and available in a range of formulas, colors, shapes, and styles to suit every taste, the nail care brand—which originally started as a hotspot Los Angeles salon—is passionate about giving you a manicure you love whether you’re a “standing appointment with your regular neutral polish” or “hmm I’m feeling turquoise today—and stripes” kind of person. Seriously, everyone can enjoy: glue-averse nail health nuts and press-on peel-offers alike.
The brands latest launch is perfect for those who arent exactly sure what kind of nail person they are, and makes it easier than ever to experiment. Launching today, the Super Stick Mani and its corresponding Super Stick System is joining the brand’s consistently revolutionary lineup as the longest-lasting tab manicure on the market.
Ahead, everything you need to know about the brilliant new launch, including wisdom from Olive & June’s Founder and CEO, Sarah Gibson Tuttle.

The Inspiration
Sometimes, inspiration comes from the exact place you’d expect: passionate customers begging a product team to launch a tab mani.
With up to seven days of wear, the Super Stick Mani was created for these people—and anyone who might want to switch their nails up more often. With new nail trends constantly popping up, who can blame them? While the brand already has their fan-favorite press-on nails, Gibson Tuttle wanted an easy-to-remove option for those who want less commitment.
“The Super Stick Mani is the answer for the polish person who wants to explore, or the press-on person who wants a routine and wants to mix it up with duration,” she tells buuk.top.
With its color range mirroring the hues of Olive & June’s Quick Dry polish line, the Super Stick Mani is available in 31 styles (12 solid colors and 19 designs) with two custom shapes—squoval and round—and two custom lengths—short and extra short. Yes, you can go from an intricate design one day to a simple, black square nail the next. Yes, your Hallowen nails don’t have to stay on until mid-November (unless you’re about that, in which case power to you).

The Product
While tab manicures are infamous for their short wear time, Olive & June has never been about infamy—just innovation. “The world doesn’t need another product, the world needs better products,” Gibson Tuttle says. Essentially, the Super Stick Mani is designed to last as long as you want it to.
Before the brand could commit to the launch, they knew they had to extend the wear timeline. Now, it’s the longest-lasting tab manicure (it tested 58% longer-wearing than the competition) on the market thanks to its patent-pending tab wheel.
First, Olive & June’s team worked on the tabs’ stickiness. They made some long-lasting options, but they were too thick. Like, get-stuck-in-your-hair thick. Once the formula was perfected, they decided on how to offer the tabs, settling on an ingenious wheel that features application instructions and easy size selection.
Then, they went back and started working on the flexibility of the nails themselves. While similar to the brand’s beloved Instant Mani Press-On Nails in quality (both are made with up to 94% post-consumer recycled material), the Super Stick Mani is a bit thinner. Because of this, it has more flexibility and is able to fit more nail sizes—the reason it only comes in 16 (with 32 total nails included in each set) instead of its big sister’s whopping 21.
Non-toxic and non-damaging, peeling off your nails won’t hurt, either. “It’s this sense of accomplishment,” Gibson Tuttle says. “You’re not supposed to peel, but you can!”

How to Use Them
While the instructions are incredibly straightforward, there’s one very important thing Gibson Tuttle wants you to remember when applying your Super Stick Mani. You put the tab on first—making sure its secure to your nail—then the press-on. When it comes to sizing, the wheel makes finding the perfect fit easy—if your middle finger is a tab size two, it’s a nail size two.
As for removal, it truly couldn’t be easier. “Literally, you can just pull them off,” Gibson Tuttle says. “If they’re too strong, which they sometimes are!, you can use the removal stick.” Simply wedge the stick under the corner of the press on, and gently pry off the nail.
And by the way, just because you can switch them up doesn’t mean you have to. When I talked to Gibson Tuttle, she was on day eight of her cat-eye Super Stick Mani, having been through five airports and three cities (with both checked and carry-on baggage), quality time with her daughter, and numerous dishwashing sessions since her initial application.
“I don’t want your polish to chip. I want you to take off the polish when you’re annoyed with how long it’s lasting,” the founder shares. “The point is to be the solution for everything you need in nails.”
You can shop the Super Stick Mani for $8 each on oliveandjune.com on October 18.
